1 (swimming pool behind our house callin' my name!)- sidenote- we were looking at a house listing on the MLS last week and in the description it said "amazing swimming poo". Yes, they forgot the l! Wouldn't you proof-read something like that? Hubs and I (immaturely) had a great laugh. We've also seen listings that said "custom molding" instead of moulding. Ha!

1 sweet family in desperate need of prayer:

These are our friends Brian, Sandy and their baby girl Nathalie. We've known them since college. Brian was Andrew's roomie and Sandy was mine...we hooked 'em up...and look what happened! They've been married almost 5 years and have a sweet baby girl to show for it! Brian is a CHP officer, Sandy a Mommy (our dream job!). Around November of last year Brian injured his back at work, pretty badly. He had a non-invasive surgery to correct this injury in February. It was expected that this would fix the problem and take away the pain from his injury. It hasn't. The clock is ticking for them, as with workman's comp he has a year to be back at work. You may also know that everything takes forever with workmans comp injuries. So changing therapists, doctors and approval for different treatments take forever! So frustrating. Please keep our friends in your prayers. Time is running out for Brian to go back to work and this situation has been very draining, emotionally, on their family. Pray for Jesus to heal Brian completely, give Sandy the hope she is so desperately needing right now and for this situation to work out for God's glory.

It's so hard to see our friends go through this, and especially convicting for me amidst my pity party lately. Thank you Jesus for this conviction! It is refreshing to be kicked in the butt and reminded that not everything's about me and some people have real needs and troubles right now!
