Heartache

My girl got her heart broken for the first time last night. My six year old girl. She was DEVASTATED to find out one of her little buddies isn't going to be doing dance class with her anymore. I knew Chloe loved this little friend but I had no idea she would take it so hard.

"Why does everybody always leave me?!" she sobbed. SOBBED. I hugged her warm little body and soothed her but I had no answers. I later assured her that we would make sure to have regular playdates with her friend, and this helped some. So did a few Thin Mints before bed.

My poor little daughter. She feels all her emotions so strongly, I mean REALLY feels them, good or bad. And she REALLY felt this little heartache last night.

Love my girl.

    This is so sweet and so sad. You tell Chloe that Josh will never leave her and that if she ever feels sad she can come to my house for fruit snacks and caprisuns. ;)
    She has such a big heart!!

    Oh, one of the worst things for a mom is seeing their little hearts hurt.
