Taking a Toddler to Disneyland pt. 1

I'm such a dork, I did a lot of research before our recent tip to Disneyland. I wanted the day to be magical for Chloe and still keep Mommy and Daddy sane. I thought I'd post a few tips we discovered that made our day all the more Disney-rific!!
  • We went for Chloe's birthday so upon arrival we went to Guest Services and told them this. Chloe got a phone call from Goofy, wishing her a happy birthday, and a button to wear on her shirt that announced to the world that it was Chloe's birthday! Every single employee we came in contact with-including the princesses in the parade, (and many other guests!), wished her happy birthday! She felt so special!!
  • Gates 13, 20 and 21 at the park entrance move the fastest!
  • Purchase tickets online, at a Disney store or through a friend (we have neighbors who work for the military so they got them on the base for us).
  • You can store your stroller at the stroller rental place for free until you need it! We didn't pick ours up until 6pm when little legs were getting tired.
  • We asked and we received....we asked to ride at the front of the train that circles the park, they let us, gave Chloe an engineer's hat and showed us how the train worked. When we left we asked (at Guest Services) for an autographed pic of Tinkerbell, they gave us one, with Chloe's name on it!

More fun tips to come in the next week!! Parades, ride suggestions etc....I know you're waiting in suspense!! :)
