Things I did on my summer vacation...that you could do too! Part 1

1. Make "play clay" with your kids. Giggle at the mustache of corn starch on your 2 year old.

2. Take yet another picture of kid and play clay. Post the funny-faced one. She'll love it at 15.

3. Encourage your children to have a water fight. Give your little one the advantage. Run when they turn the hose on you.

4. See? I told you she had the advantage. How can you defend yourself with a noodle?

5. Give your 2 year old a pickle. It's just funny. She eats it like corn on the cob.

6. Get some yummy veggies....

7. And make your husband grill you some cheeseburgers! Traditional summer meal....delicious!

8. At the end of the day, get yourself a cute baby with barely-there dimples and have some serious snuggle time. Borrow a friend's baby if you have to. That snuggle time is good for the soul.
9. Don't be hung up because you're not taking that glamourous Hawaiian vacation. Enjoy the simple summer pleasures at home, with your family. Photograph everything, and cherish the time with your kids. I remind myself daily that this will be my only summer ever with a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a newborn!

10. Link up with your summer family fun!
