Thankful

Thankful for these three that consume my days, nights and everything in between. Wouldn't have it any other way. Thankful for books that encourage and exhort me to mother with an undivided heart. Thankful for my baby' daddy who is the most hands-on father I know. 

Thankful that my grandma has five great-grandchildren! What a blessing to live 87 years and embrace your children's children's children. She is so amazing with her greatgrandkids. She hunts treasure (rocks) in the back with my girls, cuddles all the babies and tells my 12 year old nephew how handsome he is every time she sees him. So very thankful for the squirminess of children! I think a perfectly posed picture with a 12 year old, 5 year old, 3 year old, 7 month old and 2 month old would be just plain weird.

So thankful my children have two cousins. An older one who looks after them and plays chase and monster and isn't too cool to be silly. And a sweet new baby, just five months apart from my Silas. Can you believe his hair? Grandma calls him Little Elvis.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise him all you heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
